Q. How does the design process work for my remodel? I have a lot of ideas.
A. Great! We collaborate with our clients to consider their wants and needs for the new space or remodel. When working with Rose Creek Builders, you have access to award winning interior designers who can create the show-stopping space of your dreams – all within your budget. Our designers and projects have been featured in the Luxury Home Tour, Easy Street Tour and Parade of Homes.
Q. What dollar range of projects does Rose Creek do?
A. Out range is broad – from $25,000 TO $750,000.
Q. How do you ensure my budget is adhered to?
A. For most people trying to manage their remodel or new construction project themselves, a budget is a figment of their imagination. Unforeseen labor/material costs and mistakes can quickly blow a budget. When you hire Rose Creek Builders, you are hiring professionals who have the experience to properly bid out each aspect of your project with several companies to ensure you are getting the best value and your approved budget is strictly adhered to.
Q. I’m nervous about adding to my home when the housing market is so bad!
A. It’s difficult to repredict the market and impossible to know exactly what will happen. However, history has shown that the housing market has always been a roller coaster with its highs and lows. In this housing market low, many people have turned to remodeling with the thought that they can improve their home now, and sell in a few years – when the market is better.
Q. I want to build a new home. How do I start?
A. We are a full service builder that can negotiate and purchase (on your behalf) your future home’s lot. We can also simply design the new home for any lot that you already own. We have been through both scenarios countless times and we can be a catalyst for negotiation options or floor plan and design ideas.
Q. How do I know if my present home has moisture damage?
A. Indicators of moisture damage are: 1) stained stucco, 2) discolored interior trim, 3) small cracking on stucco especially at window corners and deck ledger boards. A full moisture assessment can be performed by several local companies for roughly $350. This involves a non intrusive “probe” test which will document the moisture readings in your walls. After you receive your moisture report, we can sit down and help you come up with a plan for your moisture repair.
Q. I haven’t been able to sell my home. Any suggestions?
A. We’d like to meet with you at your home. We WILL have some ideas for you. Since 1976, Michael Hally has been a licensed, MLS, real estate broker in the Twin Cities.
